Welcome to the Texas A&M Santa Chiara website. The information included in this website is designed to provide information for faculty, current students, prospective students, and parents. For students planning on going, a more detailed handbook and preparatory course will formally introduce the program.

One of the main goals that Texas A&M has established is to "Diversify and globalize the A&M community". "To position our students to live and compete in a global society, Texas A&M University must produce graduates who are not only academically prepared, but who have the capacity to understand other cultures and to live and work outside their own cultural framework" (Vision 2020: Creating a Culture of Excellence).

Our goal in Study Abroad is in line with this Vision 2020 goal. The Texas A&M commitment to providing study abroad opportunities and expanding students global awareness is evident in the hundreds of international programs and experiences offered by Texas A&M.
