Choosing The Right Experience Abroad
The first decision that you need to make is which type of program is best for you. Refer to the Programs page for information on the various types of programs offered. Most students at Texas A&M choose the faculty-led study abroad programs. However, depending on your interests, other opportunities may be more appropriate. By choosing one of the options above, you can find out more about specific preparation issues for the international experience that you seek.

Deadlines
Most of Texas A&M Study Abroad programs are offered on a "first come, first serve" basis, and many of these programs fill up quickly. Some, however, set deadlines for acceptance. If you are interested in being notified once applications become available for a particular program, be sure to sign up on the
Interest List for that particular program.

Act quickly! If you are interested in studying abroad, begin exploring your options two semesters before you want to leave. This allows ample time for preparation and also to take full advantage of scholarship opportunities!

Informational Meetings: The Study Abroad Program Office also conducts Informational Meetings for many of our programs. Check the Battalion, our News & Events page, or call the Study Abroad office at 979-845-0544 for scheduled meeting dates and times.
