Plan Your Program

                                  Plan Your Program

Texas A&M University values the international experience as a crucial part of your college career, and thus offers a wide range of opportunities from which to choose.  The steps below will help you in this decision-making process, so get started and good luck!

It is important for you to understand the goals you would like to achieve while abroad.  Consider the following:

    1. What classes would you like to take?

    2. When would you like to go abroad during your college career?

    3. Do you have a particular destination in mind?

    4. What is your financial budget?  Are you planning to obtain financial aid or scholarships?

    5. Would you like to learn a new language? In what kind of living accommodations would you feel most comfortable?

Next, follow these steps to continue preparing for your global experience!  We recommend students allow at least one semester to complete the following items below before traveling abroad.

    • Explore the programs available that meet your criteria.  You can search by term, location, area of study, and more.
