Funding for Texas A&M Study Abroad Programs

Cost of Programs | Scholarships & Grants | Loans & Other Financial Aid | Scholarships & Financial Aid Advisors | Other Sources of Aid

Funding News & Announcements:

The listing below is by no means comprehensive, but should serve as a resource for students looking at types of funding resources to finance their international experiences. Please consult other offices on campus such as your department, Dean's office for your college, the Scholarships & Financial Aid Office and the Honors Program Office for more resources.

Cost of Programs

Costs vary from program to program. Some of the variables that determine the cost of programs include lodging expenses, number of field trips, food expenses, inflation rate for host country, whether travel expenses are included, guest lecturers and speakers, lab and experimental equipment, vaccinations, etc. The cost also depends on the length of time you will be staying. For example, a fall or spring semester term will be more expensive than a summer semester.

One important thing to consider when viewing our program costs is that tuition and fees are  NOT  included. Program costs cover the things mentioned above. Another thing to remember is that airfare is usually not included. However, some programs do include airfare in the overall expenses. Consult with the program advisor to find out if airfare is included. Generally, if airfare is not included, Study Abroad can arrange for you to obtain group rates.

For specific costs of programs, go to Undergraduate Programs and Graduate Programs.
