The mentorship program is a very important component of the Academy.
Students are required to write a 5-page paper about your
mentor interactions.
The student must initiate and maintain
the relationship with the mentor. The mentors are members of the International Programs Office International Board
(IB) and are leaders in their fields of expertise.
You will meet the IB on October 16th .
To prepare for selecting a board member as
mentor, students are encouraged to review the
website in advance to read board member biographies.
In early November, students must submit their mentor preferences.
Students should read the International Board Members' profiles and rank
their top 5 mentor choices.
In December, all mentor pairings will be
announced and students will be encouraged to
make first contact with their mentors.
