Eme Alberico
Philosophy and Political Science
Eme Alberico,
of Plano, TX, is a sophomore in the
College of Liberal Arts with majors
in both Philosophy and Political
Science. She is also a Regents’
scholar.
Eme is
currently the coordinator of
pro-life activities and marketing
for the Pro-Life Committee of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church. She also
participates in church choir(s), the
mock trial branch of Texas A&M’s
LEGALS organization, and many of the
activities supported and organized
by the Coalition for Life, an
off-campus association. Through her
participation in the Cornerstone
Program, a course within the College
of Liberal Arts, she had the
opportunity to travel to Berlin with
25 of her classmates during Spring
Break ’07. Although not what she
expected, her first trip outside of
the United States served to spark
her interest in international
affairs, politics, history, and
future travel. In her upcoming
years at A&M she hopes to intern in
D.C. and also in France.
During her time
at A&M, Eme has gained interest in
various disciplines and will either
attend law school or graduate school
for international politics or law
with an eye toward a career in
international diplomacy. She
aspires to be a woman of faith,
integrity, intelligence, and
compassion.
Eme is very
enthusiastic about the opportunity
provided within the Academy and
looks forward to the chance to
develop her leadership skills and
expand her knowledge in the company
of Texas A&M’s student leaders.
