Administrative Coordinator II

Melanie joined the Study Abroad Programs Office in February 2011. Her main duties are facilitating administrative interaction with other departments, coordinating daily office support activities, and assisting the directors. She also provides basic study abroad advising to students. Melanie is also the manager of the Study Abroad Passport Facility and a Passport Acceptance Agent. Originally from northern Illinois, Melanie earned her undergraduate degree from Truman State University in Anthropology/Sociology with a minor in Biology. She has worked on archaeological sites in Texas, Missouri, and Hawaii. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, and spinning yarn. Melanie has traveled to England, Wales, and Mexico.
