|Primarily focused on faculty-led and transfer credit study abroad programs, Jordan joined the Study Abroad Programs Office in February 2016. He comes having previously worked with CISabroad and the International Education Programs (IEP) office at Friends University. His first international travel experience was in El Salvador working with a mission team. During graduate school, he interned with Qatar Foundation – Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar. Jordan earned a B.A. in Sociology in 2011 and a M.S. in College Student Personnel Administration in 2014 from the University of Central Missouri. Other experiences within higher education include: international admissions and recruiting, diversity and inclusive excellence programming, TRIO-Student Support Services, and residential life. For Jordan, “home” is more of a state-of-mind than a physical place. To date, he has lived in 9 US states, 15 cities, and also traveled to Mexico City and back to El Salvador. He hopes to contribute to Texas A&M students’ development by encouraging Aggies to embark on a study, intern, research, and volunteer abroad opportunities.
