|Elizabeth joined the Study Abroad Programs Office in 2016 and works primarily with faculty-led programs. She holds a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Language with a concentration in Spanish from Mississippi State University. Prior to joining Texas A&M, she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Study Abroad at Mississippi State University. Other experiences within higher education include: English as a second language, international recruiting and promotion, residence life, dean of students office, and orientation. Throughout middle and high school Elizabeth participated in summer programs to Central America, and got hooked on study abroad. During her undergraduate studies, she studied Spanish in Alcalá de Henares, Spain through a faculty led program with Mississippi State University. In graduate school, she attended a program in Florence, Italy through Kent State University to study the design and delivery of study abroad programs. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys cooking, salsa dancing, playing board games, and traveling.
